HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN) Furry friends have become the new norm on campus all in the hopes of providing HU students with stress relieving cuddles.

Chris and Anne Bohlman visit campus every two weeks with their certified therapy dogs to meet with students in the HUB and library.

The gentle Great Danes, Clarabelle and Dana, have become familiar faces around campus, and a much needed service to the stressed out students around HU.

The Bohlmans, Anne in particular, has been in the therapy dog business for many years, taking Dana and Clarabelle everywhere from campuses to hospice care.

“The world is so full of anxiety everywhere. It’s so full of anxiety. So I just think we need more therapy dogs out there,” Anne Bohlman said.

Anne and Chris will be gone with the dogs for most of middle of the semester for vacation, but are excited to come back soon.
