HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN) Huntington University hosted a concert put on by “CMC Nashville”, a college program down in Tennessee for aspiring musicians to study music and get connected in the industry.

Students from all over the country travel to Nashville for a semester to study music production. As a final exam, those students go on a multi-state tour to perform the songs they wrote throughout the semester.

HU’s own Carlos Perez was a part of the program this fall semester, and was one of the students performing. HU students Mckenna Parks, Ashley Spirek, and Carlos Hermosillo also opened up the show.

The program takes 30 students a semester for intensive training. Music production isn’t the only track in Nashville, there’s also a tech track and a business track. No matter what your major or skillsets are, there is something for everybody.

If you’re a student interested in going to Nashville for your final semester, talk to your advisor about what that would look like.
