HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN) To mark the start of fall, Roanoke assembled local artists for its annual event “A Renaissance in Roanoke.”
Artists and crafters gather in Roanoke for a ren fair every year in October since 2008. The Roanoke Arts Council started the fair to bring creativity and fine art to the community. Vendors set up stations to sell their crafts, community art competitions take place, and different events are put on throughout the day.
This is a great opportunity for local creatives, like vendor Keith Madsen, to showcase their talent.
“To me it’s just a way to meet people, see some old friends, and sell my craft.” Madsen said.
