Sen. Todd Young visits HU Campus

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN) — Huntington University hosted the Farm Journal Foundation on April 17, 2019.

The panelists for the discussion on global food security included Dr. Sherilyn Emberton of Huntington University, Sen. Todd Young, US Ambassador Kip Tom, and Kassi (Tom) Rowland of Kip Farms.

The panelists came together to discuss global food security and the moral imperative of reducing world hunger and poverty. Guests and panelists alike were granted the opportunity to congratulate Kip Tom shortly before his confirmation and swearing in as the new Ambassador and U.S. Representative to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture in Rome, Italy.
