HUNTINGTON, IN (FDN) — Matthew Torres – Gomez is the first-ever graduate from the Huntington University center in Peoria, Arizona. He was among the first 16 students who were enrolled in the first semester of the school’s history in 2016.  When he arrived, he already had an associate of arts degree causing him to be able to graduate in five semesters. Torres – Gomez was the kind of pioneer that any new college wants, someone who is hungry to learn and willing to take any opportunity thrown at him.

REFLECTION

I really enjoyed my conversation with Matthew. His determination and joy for broadcast and media is contagious. It was really cool to talk to someone that also likes being in the control room and running audio. It was also really nice to hear his encouragement about not being afraid to take risks or get critiques on your work because it’s only going to make you a better person and broadcaster. Truly, I did enjoy this episode and I hope you will take a listen! – Miss Emma Grace
