HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN) HU’s police has received calls over the past couple weeks about items missing from cars on campus.

Students returned to their cars to find things out of place. Every car broken into so far was unlocked in the student parking lots. Nothing expensive was reported stolen so far. They advised that students don’t pre-pack their car or have anything of value visible.

“Please, please, please, just lock your cars,” Keirsh Cochran urged. “And if you see something; let’s say you’re walking back to your, your residence later in the evening and you see something that kinda looks suspicious or something out of place, just give us a call.”

You can call HU P.D. any time at (260) 224-1412 to have an officer assist you.
