HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN) — The classic comedy routine “Who’s on First?” won judges over at the Davis Hall Follies talent show at HU.

On October 5 dozens of students took the stage performing original acts. The event was hosted by 2018 graduates Hannah Britton and Connor Kreider, who performed different skits between acts. Since they already graduated, they performed skits relating to stuff they didn’t get to do while attending HU.

In third place Chandler Rang brought to the stage his own interpretation of Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’”. Second place was awarded to EJ Hancock, who sang an original song about her hero, Batman. The song received audience participation filling the room with laughter, clapping, and singing along to the tune.

The winner of the event was the first act of the night. The skit “Who’s on First?” was performed by Andrew Bower and Marco Evens. The original creators were Bud Abbott and Lou Costello who made the skit back in the 1938. The skit is about two people talking about baseball and the different people who are on each base. It eventually turns into a big misunderstanding frustrating each person. Bower and Evens added Huntington references in their rendition.
