HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN)- With campus safety being a big requirement for students, Huntington University has recently implemented new measures to ensure student safety.

Last year, Huntington University was ranked 7th in the nation and 1st in the state of Indiana for campus safety. Chief Justin Faw with campus police has made it his goal to increase the national ranking.  New this semester, campus leaders have installed emergency response guides in every room on campus that include things like emergency phone numbers, active shooter protocol, and evacuation procedures.

Chief Faw encourages students to use additional safety measures at night like walking in well-lit areas. You can call campus police at (260) 224-1423. If case of emergency, call 911.
