HUNTINGTON, Ind. (FDN) The broadcast senior project from both Indiana and Arizona campuses have been working hard to bring awareness to small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Understanding the impact it had on the community, both campuses are honored to present “Loving Local.”

From Peoria, Olyvia Bryant sat down with the owner of Baked Chemistry, Emtesha Newble. Newble opened her new bake shop before the pandemic hit. Newble decided to move online by offering classes and online orders to support herself during the pandemic.

Stay tuned to hear from FDN’s Grace O’Brien with her interview with Brandon Noll on the importance of shopping locally. Noll is Director of Business Development at Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership.

On Thursday, November 19th, “Loving Local” will present a special broadcast that includes stories from business owners, a devoted customer, and a breakdown of COVID’s economic impact.

Featuring small business from Huntington to Peoria: Baked Chemistry, JJ Java, TCB Games, Turn The Page, Healthy Hut, and Little Sweet Spot
